The first-ever Blast BBQ during the clubs last home game stand brought out over 150 people from our member families!  It was a beautiful night to see all our players families and share in the awesome food & desserts.  

"We were not surprised at the awesome turnout.  We have great, supportive families and dedicated event volunteers in the club.  These people do amazing things to support their kids, the coaches and our organization.  It was awesome to have had such a great night to get everyone together."   Said Club Vice President, John Michaelson.

The BBQ volunteers coordinating the pot-luck style event were well prepared to get everyone fed.  "It was perfect.  We had enough of everything and very little to take home.  There might have been some desserts that were eaten up before the food was set out, but we won't get anyone here in trouble for that," smiled one of the volunteers as she and her team cleaned up after the event. 

The players, parents and coaches all mixed and mingled in to meet fellow club families.  From a full team of U9 boys to some of our U18 Elite Women, the Blast Bar-B-Q was a perfect way to wrap up the first season club success.
