CONGRATU-NATIONALS!
Congrats to both our u15's, u17's Girls and our u18/19 Girls for representing the Blast at US Club Nationals in Denver Colorado this past week and at USYSA Nationals in Orlando! Our u17's took the US club National Championship holding the Blast up as u17 National Champs two years in a row! Our u18/19 girls won the USYSA National Championship, beating four of the top five teams in the country. This is the fist Minnesota team in 31 years to win a National USYS Title and only the 6th team from Minnesota to advance to USYSA Nationals ever. It was a great honor to have our two Blast teams representing the club and stand as shining soccer examples at Nationals. Congrats to all!

Jaclyn & Alex Okoampa
As our u18/19 and u17-Sahara girls took to Denver to compete in the US Club Nationals, both teams had the full support of our two young, energetic Blast fans, Jaclyn and Alex Okoampa. Jaclyn and Alex were up at the crack of dawn, taking in the u17 games that started at 8:30 AM before hitting the u18/19 sideline for their 10:30 AM games.
Post games meant hanging with the team, doing player interviews and "v-logging" their way into our Blast "Mic'd Up" series. Before this photo, Jaclyn and Alex participated in the u17 Championship ceremony, each getting a chance to hold the large trophy signifying the repeat National Champion performance by the u17-Sahara Blast team.
The photo above was taken with two of their biggest fans, Maddy Skalicky (right) and Hannah Kvant, both standout players on the u18/19 team, as they held their Finalist award. The runner-up plaque headed home with these two young fans where it will spend the next month as our appreciation of their support for their early morning cheers for five extremely hot days in Denver Colorado.
